Purpose of the Poster Session & Poster Content
The poster session provides students and early-career professionals with the opportunity to:

Showcase projects, community initiatives, or literature reviews related to climate change, climate-health curriculum, healthcare sustainability, environmental health, or environmental justice.

Potential topics on climate and health: Extreme heat, wildfire smoke, flooding and water-borne diseases, algal blooms, vector-borne disease, power outages, emergency planning, and examples of risk multipliers

Policy solutions: Community solar, energy democracy, Line 5, JH Campbell coal plant re-opening, rescission of the Endangerment Finding or other state and federal regulations.

Healthcare sustainability: Food, plastics, gloves, data centers

Surprise us!

Poster Printing & Display
Students are responsible for printing, bringing, and setting up or tearing down their posters at the annual meeting. We will provide easels. Posters can be printed on standard paper; 4x4 limit. Contact us if your poster does not fit this size or if you need assistance finding a printer. Excepting maximum 20 posters at this time.
MiCCA will not be printing posters on behalf of participants.
Set up will be from 7:30-8:15 a.m.
Posters should be prepared in a standard academic format that is easy to read and visually engaging.​
Easels and display board will be provided at the event for setup/display. The display board size is TBA.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and graduate students in sustainability, pre-med, nursing, social work, public health, veterinary science, and dentistry, as well as medical residents and fellows.
Posters may be presented by individuals or teams (one presenting author must be registered and present).
