About the event
Join us for this series, taking place June 26th at 6pm, with speaker Mary-Jacqueline Muli, RN, founder of the Climate Justice Nurse.
This webinar series will focus on both the why and the how for making homes more resilient, healthier, and mitigating their emissions, with the intention of preparing health professionals to share current State funding opportunities with their patients.
Session 1 (June 26): will focus on the health impacts of air quality in the home and the resources available for home improvements, specifically sharing patient resources.
Case studies: flooding & mold; gas stoves
Session 2 (July, TBD): will focus on the intersection between energy access, generation and health in Michigan, and how Michigan's new Solar for All program will offer opportunities for onsite solar.
Case studies: power outages, air quality
