Why Should Health Professionals Care About the Upcoming Election?

First and foremost, as the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians American Public Health Association , and Society for Public Health Education have stated: Access to and participating in voting is a social determinant of health! As we know, health and climate change are on the ballot this year!

Join us on Thursday, May 23, at 6:00 pm to learn directly from Vot-ERMichigan liaison, Ariana Khan, as she takes us through how best to ensure that our patients are registered to vote and decide to participate in the process, and educate them regarding how voting impacts health outcomes.

Importantly, we will also learn why it is so important that we make sure that we have a plan to vote and that we talk with our colleagues about the importance of making time to fill out a ballot!

There will be an opportunity to role play, and brainstorm about how we in MiCCA can help Get Out the Vote here in Michigan, which will no doubt be a pivotal state in the federal election.

You don't want to miss this amazing opportunity to learn, share ideas, and create, all while earning free CME, on May 23 at 6:00 pm. . Register here!
