About the event
While most attention is on the role that the federal or state governments play in climate policy, implementation of the infrastructure needed for a clean energy transition is entirely done at the local level. In this talk, she'll reflect on that work, sharing practical lessons about how health professionals might constructively advocate at the local level for climate action: whether for the equitable build-out of wind or solar farms, or building more climate-conscious housing in walkable neighborhoods.
