About the event

Join Michigan Clinicians for Climate Action and the Great Lakes Water Protector Network on Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Traverse City District Library (Woodmere McGuire Room) for a training on how to inform and strategically ask candidates about their stance on various environmental issues.

What if we said “pressing” issues instead? To try to cast a broader interest..

The training will be interactive, so we highly encourage in-person attendance! Register here for a virtual option.

The program will focus on nonpartisan and non-confrontational candidate education and accountability. The training will include a brief intro to birddogging and guidance on how to:

  • Develop effective questions for candidates running for state offices

  • Ask strategic questions in public forums
