Health Professional Advocacy Day on Clean Energy Solutions

Michigan Clinicians for Climate Action is calling on health professionals to join us in Lansing to hold educational meetings with our state lawmakers to emphasize that fossil fuels make people sick both immediately and hurt our public’s health long-term, raising healthcare costs for everybody. We support renewable energy solutions like solar, which are healthier, cheaper, and faster to deploy than fossil fuels.

Event Expectations: We are meeting at 8:30 a.m. at the Michigan Environmental Council office at 602 W Ionia St, Lansing, MI 48933, where we will have a light breakfast and huddle with Dr. Debra Hendrickson, a visiting pediatrician and author of the book The Air They Breathe.
