MiCCA's 2nd Annual
Climate & Health Conference
Responding to the Moment & Building Resilience
November 15, 2025
8:30am - 5:00pm
REGISTRATION IS open
We are excited to announce our 2nd annual Climate and Health Conference in partnership with Michigan State University and Corewell Health. This November, join us in Grand Rapids at MSU's Secchia Center for a day of collaboration, education, food, panels, and workshops. Our focus this year will be clinician advocacy: for sustainable healthcare systems, just communities, and climate action.

Now more than ever, it's time for us to come together to work toward resilient outcomes. We recognize how difficult it's been lately for health professionals who are concerned about climate change, but our conference is an opportunity to get together and recognize our collective work. We will continue to create and hold space for health professionals, health students, and community members to work together for change.

Our keynote speaker this year will be Dr. Aparna Bole, a pediatrician based in Cleveland, Ohio. She is particularly interested in the intersection between environmental stewardship, environmental justice, and pediatric public health. Her activities as a clinician, educator, advocate, and healthcare leader are focused on the environmental drivers of children’s health, including the health effects of climate change and the child health benefits of climate solutions. She is also involved in climate-smart healthcare, including environmentally responsible and climate-resilient healthcare operations, and climate-informed clinical care.
We look forward to seeing you on November 15th in Grand Rapids!
